New Year Meditation: use the power of your intention

Power of intentionHappy New Year!  I hope that you and yours had a good Christmas and New Year.

If it was in any way tinged with stress or sadness or frustration then I send you much love … and hope and joy for the new year ahead.

So, to mark this transition from the old year into the new I have created this guided meditation focusing on the power of intention.

I’ll guide you through releasing the old year, opening to the new, and help you choose a word for the year to act as your focus and guide to create the life you’d love – with intention.

Never under-estimate the power of focusing your mind and intention.

SO true.

This year I’m really going to be really focusing on harnessing the power of my mind to live with intention – through meditation, self-enquiry, journalling and visualisation.

I spent too much of my earlier adult life feeling powerless and pulled around by the energy and needs of other people.  And being lost in my thoughts!

My daily meditation practice has helped me to re-train my brain to focus.

And I’ve been learning a lot this last year or so about how the brain works … and about frontier science which is demonstrating just how powerful our thoughts are and how inter-connected our energies are.

Fascinating stuff! I’ll be sharing more in my teaching and writing over the coming year.

In the meantime, set aside just 15 minutes and let the old year go  – and turn your energies to this new calendar year and the magic you can bring into your life.
